Memory and optional saving

By default, your list and generated puzzle exist only in the current page's memory. Navigating away or closing the page removes the application's in-memory copy. Your browser may retain form history or restore a tab according to its own settings.

Choosing Save stores one validated list and its settings in localStorage on this browser and device. It replaces the previously saved list. Nothing is saved automatically. Choose Delete saved list to remove that record; Reset clears the current form but does not delete a saved list. You can also clear this site's data in your browser.

Downloaded PDF, text and JSON files stay wherever you save them; deleting browser data does not delete those files. On shared devices, remove saved lists and downloaded files when finished.

Network requests

The browser requests this website's HTML, scripts and styles. When you export a PDF it also loads the PDF library and font from the same site. These requests do not include the words you entered. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes request information, including IP addresses and requested URLs, to deliver the website and protect its infrastructure. We do not operate a separate database of puzzle inputs or export request logs. Provider retention depends on the Cloudflare service and settings; no fixed deletion period is promised here. No advertising or analytics connection

This edition loads no analytics, advertising SDK, tracking cookie or AI provider. There is no account, email collection or remote database. Those services must remain inactive until their purpose, provider, retention and applicable consent process have been reviewed and configured.

Planned Google advertising

We have applied to Google AdSense. The public ads.txt file identifies our publisher account; it does not set cookies or load advertisements. Advertising scripts are currently disabled. Before advertisements are activated, this notice will be updated to describe the actual data use and an appropriate consent message will be configured and tested. Google advertising may use cookies, device identifiers and IP addresses for ad delivery, measurement and, with applicable consent, personalization. Use ordinary vocabulary

Please do not enter student names, personal records or other private information. Examples contain ordinary words and do not request identifying details.

Publication status and contact

WordSearchNest is publicly available. Local saved lists can be removed with Delete saved list or your browser’s site-data settings. The site currently provides no public privacy contact.
